America
So I arrived.
I figure it was about 18 odd hour is an aeroplane. Too much any way.
I spent a great deal of it in the vecinity of children. They do not make the best traveling companions.
But I survived.
I don't really have jet lag. My brain does hurt a bit every now and then, but I figure I just need to get a bit more rest and get out and about.
I have had a burger, grits and a biscuit (southern style) the burger was fast food and ok. The grits and biscuit I have been told were not the best. But I liked the biscuit, not the grits though, they tasted like corn paste< ok so it is corn meal, but corn is not my favourite flavour.
I have to start leaving food on my plate or I will come back as big as a house.
My baggage got lost for about a day. I got it Sunday night at 11pm after arriving on Saturday at 8pm. I was a bit of a bugger but no real hassel.
I have been looking at the mobile phone towers and the overhaed cable and just plane ond being intreguied by lots of the small differences in lifestyle and culture that are prevelant in this country to Australia.
I have seen not a lot so far but hope to have a look at some more soon with the holiday to start properly when I manage to get over sleep deprevation.
Oh and bought a suit. Very tops
