Just For Meva

Well, this is just for Meva. The rest of you can read it if you want but as she was nice enough to wish me well I will try updating you.

Well Meva, my life took a turn around Christmas time when an old flame and I hooked back up together. She however was on holidays over here from the USA and so I am now involved in a long distance relationship.
It is hard, but both of us are working hard at keeping it alive until I can get a job over there or until she can move back here.
Realistically we both know that I need to move over there in the short term at least.
So after 7 years in the one job, I had to get a CV together and am at the moment trying to figure out who to send my resume to to try and get a visa and a job in the USA. Any ideas welcomed.

This big revelation and the fact that work are now giving me work and I am flat out have reduced my time spent staring blankly at a computer and so my blogging has reduced quite markedly. (PS Skype is both a blessing and a curse for a long distance relationship. You get to see the one you love, only to hang up and realise that you cannot touch them)

I should set aside time at least once a week to blog. I sure I can come up with some thing to rant about once a week. Maybe I will try it on Sunday nights.
Who knows.

I haven't checked out any blogs lately either, so I'm sad to say that I haven't read you in about 3 months Meva, its just something that has fallen out of my morning routine.
Will try and do better for you.

Thanks for the comment Meva, it shows that even these transient and odd relationships that grow between strangers on the internet can be encourging.

Oh and I turned thirty and am still alive, hooray for me.

So that is a very quick synopsis of what has been going on Meva. I'm still here, just very distracted by the life that is happening infront of me and less distracted by the internet.

Hope you are well and having fun.
Sloth.

Hey, Sloth! I actually thought there was some summer lovin' going on over the Christmas period. You sounded really happy and positive. Good on you! I hope it all goes well. What a lucky girl.

I know how you feel about the blogging thing. I'm actually about to take a break, too. But if you go to America, I hope you keep blogging from there. You have some really good things to say. And some really silly things, too. I loved your post about the pirate!

Stay well, friend.
